The is series always seemed to feel like a tease where you, as the viewer, expect for things to go farther than they in actuality do. This series is very reminiscent of "Maison Ikkoku" except in that series our main protagonist is an upstanding individual. This story seems more like a romantic tragedy, where each episode you wait for the awkward to stop and that maybe things will get on the right track but then nothing. At least with "Maison Ikkoku" you felt there was some form of progress here it always seems to leave me with the feeling that it resets to 0.

This season was very good and so so, but you will for sure cry for sure in a good way. There was a super opportunity to end it perfectly, however instead we get more progress and potentially another season to wait for.
