Like some people here have already said, watch this season only if you enjoyed the 1st one, and are thereby interested in seeing some more of it. I am personally disappointed with it, because it's practically the same as the 1st season (with more ecchi moments in this one), so nothing really meaningful happened. I waited and waited...but..it was so predictable, unfortunately. However, i WILL watch the final 4 OVAs just for the closure.

This exhibits symptoms of "Oh crap, we went all-out for the first season because we weren't expecting it to do that well, but it ended up being really popular and now we have to make a sequel" syndrome. It doesn't quite live up to the first season, but it's worth a watch for anybody who's seen the first season already.

Better than the first one. More ecchi, less "plot" and tons of eye-candy. Fans of the less serious brand of school romance and love polygon + ecchi lovers should enjoy this series quite alot. I know I did. Recommended.

I don't know why ppl say this was worse than the previous one...There was more character development among the protagonists and even among ing characters(which i personally found annoying) the romance was more bold and they took ecchi to it's next level for this series(first season was barely ecchi) by adding tons of fan service in a nice way!I personally liked it as a continuation but i cannot accept that there was NO Complete kissing scene or at least a confession scene..For this series to be redeemed they need to add a LOT MORE to the next season!Either way recommended

Both series are typical and average romannce/comedy (~7 depending on episode). If you like this genre, you will not get bored. As for me, I think that there is no need for 3rd season as ending here was quite clear (credits and time after credits are often part of an ending too).

Pretty much the same as the first season, except there is one arc that was pretty lame and I skipped it entirely, which 86'd about 1/4 of the season for me... didn't like this as much as the first, if there is a number 3 I hope it's the last and it resolves everything.

its very cute and not your average romance anime, with the comedy and trials each episode will leave you wanting the next. Overall must see hope they make a 3rd season :D

Basically the exact same stuff happens here that already happened in the 1st season so it got boring for me. I did enjoy the last few episodes towards the end since a little drama came from it, something lacking in this anime. It could be just me, but I foresee a 3rd season, cause nothing was really settled. For those that enjoyed the 1st season, this is the exact same material just in a different season, but for those that didn't like the 1st season, then I suggest you watch something else.

From a distance it looked like chocolate, but when it got closer it turned out to be a pile of crap.
That is my sentiment after I finished watching this series. Honestly, I watched the first 10 episodes while they aired but held off for a VERY long time before I finished this series. Not only am I thoroughly disappointed, but I wish they had never released a second season.
Where to even begin, well for starters this season IS a direct sequel to the first Nogizaka haruka no Himitsu. If you haven't seen that, then go watch it, and if you enjoy it well don't bother watching this season cause it ruins the anime. So what has this season been degraded too? Basically in a nutshell this season has dumbed it down quite a bit and turned into a "story" of the week "harem romantic ecchi comedy". The series is 12 episodes and half of them include in-depth random side character love-interest development for absolutely no reason. Anyway, I won't rant too much the point is, it fails in comparison with its predecessor and has no merit whatsoever.
Who can watch this? Well, it follows the standard harem ecchi formula, so I guess anyone who enjoys those? You don't even need to watch the first season, since it really won't add anything to the series at all except for character introductions.
Animation When it looks worse then, S1... Do I need to say more?
The animation sucks, every part of it is worse then before. The characters sets are probably the biggest problem throughout the series. They are disproportionate and appeared deformed when switching scenes. Not to mention they are plain ugly in many cases.
The actual motion is kept to a minimum and rely on many cheap effects. The most "motion" you get is for fanservice purposes such as tripping to show panties.
The backgrounds and scenery are nothing to brag about either, they are filled with bland and uninteresting scenes that never add anything whatsoever.
Sound
As the one redeemable part of the series I will give it some credit. Overall they kept around the same standards as before, which at best is acceptable.
Both the opening and ending themes are upbeat fast J-pop songs. You know from the theme songs alone that the anime really isn't going to take you for much of a ride. Its gonna be steady and predictable the whole way... I enjoyed the ending more then the opening, The opening tried to be more j-pop with a slice of girl rock, and its not that appealing. The ending is more cutesy and actually fits the series more.
The VA's remain the same, As such I won't talk about them. Just if you liked them before then its the same thing.
Story If you watched the first episode and the last, you wouldn't of missed anything
The story is LARGELY MIA. As I mentioned before, this season is even more episodic and they introduce a whole crap load of useless characters to waste time. Its bad when the whole point of the series becomes seeing a build up to the point where Yuuto and Haruki are about to kiss just to get interrupted every single time. THAT my friends is what they are trying to build, oh how corny it is...
Characters Who the hell are all these people?
For no apparent reason a whole bunch of side cast get introduced for one or two episodes. It is plain and obvious they only wanted to milk the series, they obviously didn't put much thought in making the second season. Thus we end up getting a wide variety of filler episodes and backwards character development. The trials and tribulations are nothing new, and the same resolve that once was made is once again "reaffirmed"? Well at least we get to meet more Nogizaka maids, some random music business people and more love interests? YES it definitely added a few dimensions to this series. ;)
Value and Enjoyment
I wasn't going to finish the last two episodes, but I felt that since I already made it through the first ten I might as well. That being said, I have nothing good to say about the value or my own personal enjoyment. What I can say though is since its not the worst thing I've ever seen and they at least try a little to put some cliched values I gave it a 5 each.
My final thought is don't watch it, its not worth your time.
