you'll feel completely lost and disconnected from the main series if you watch the first ep. but the other 2 are nice and how the whole series should've been.
generally Air Gear is good material I believe as a manga with bad anime adaptation.

if you read the manga, then you should watch it for the actions and effects. if not you would just get lost in the story. overall i like it and wish they would make more...

The only redeeming features I could find in these 3 OVAs were the animation, and cooler protagonist. The fanservice was in the way, the whole seiyuu cast changed, and the plot of these OVAs was simply...pointless, to me. If this was some kind of attempt of continuation, then I must say that it was just pointless. For fans only!

well i loved the series, this was very good as well although felt like a large gap in time from when the series ended but still awesome to watch hoping for more :D
