An update out of nowhere: Added the sequel movie series, the director for the new anime, and the already-added new guises for most/all the main/secondary cast. Let me know if I missed something.

Also, Cazellnu's name was apparently spelled Caselnes all along. Total tableflip. Fuck this.

Classical pieces aside, the LoGH songs do very much tend to suck, imo, but I'll add any specific song (or even e.g. all OP/ED songs, should there be enough free space among the related entities) upon demand. Adding the full soundtrack sounds quite impossible, but I can at least try the collections.

As for the rest, I'll see about it. Characters should be particularly easy; tags would also be easy to an extent, and selecting creators will probably be the hardest of the three.

I'll try to do it today, but no promises. This week's workload is concentrated up to Wednesday, with a particularly difficult day today; this also means I'll have a relatively easy ride towards the end of the week, so remind me on Thursday afternoon if it's not done by then. As of Thursday, I'm on it, but I'm also on a few other things, so it won't be instant. It'll happen Soon(TM) though.

Hinoe, go add more characters/tags/creators/songs to this club entry.

^ Indeed... I've only really heard him in four roles, but the guy had a really superb voice, and his deliveries were always awesome, and I find it to be a shame that I haven't heard him in more roles, let alone in LoGH. In fact, I even complimented him in my Lupin III: The Fuma Conspiracy comment, in regards to the cast replacement for that OVA.


Take note that I had heard Inoue play the role for over 200 episodes, and three movies, so I was very much used to hearing his voice come out of Goemon, and I still found Shiozawa to be better as Goemon, despite it being a one-time thing.

Also, I like to think Yamazaki Takumi as his successor, as I actually confused the two, and not just once. It's pretty noticeable with Yamazaki's performance as Kayneth in Fate/Zero during certain scenes, I'd like to think. In fact, even TV Tropes seems to this, I just noticed.

So... Calling it now! Yamazaki will voice Oberstein in the remake!

RIP Shiozawa Kaneto.

His seiyuu died in 2000.

What! No evil conniving Oberstein!? Shame.

I will be a sad panda if there's no Wakamoto for Reuenthal. Not having Oberstein's seiyuu reprising his role will already be painful.

As for order... You already watched the main series, so just keep Golden Wings and the Spiral Labyrinth arc for last, or get rid of them first to have smooth sailing after the boring part. Watch the rest in the order you see fit, it doesn't honestly change much. Airing order and chronological order both work (they're similar enough, even).

Inside each Gaiden show, the small arcs (2-4 eps) are in chronological order (but 1HBS1HBL is after Dishonor). Those marked * are in the Spiral Labyrinth (1999) Gaiden; the others are in the 1HBS1HBL (1998) Gaiden.

So it may now look epic but I doubt we will get the same caliber of voice acting as in the original...
Can anyone image Reuenthal without that crisp voice of his?
Or Schonkopf with his big bear like awesomeness; I think it may be time to revisit those unwatched OVAs!

Should I start with Spiral Labyrith, or is there a better order to watch the OVAs in?
