Ace Shimizu is the former guitarist of Japanese heavy metal band SEIKIMA-II. He was a member of the band from 1985 to 1999, and he also participated in their 2005 limited reunion. While on SEIKIMA-II, in 1993, Ace had released one solo album called TIME AXIS, which would prove to be a basis for his future solo plannings. After the disbandment of SEIKIMA-II in 1999, Ace created his solo group face to ace in 2001, himself being one half of the band, and Kurage Honda of GRASS VALLEY being the other half. face to ace are still active, their latest release being PEAKS.
